My name is YANROI BEADOUMADJI, I am 23 years old, born in Goundi, Chand in 2000, single and the eldest of three children. I have a degree in International Economic Relations where I studied diplomacy, international market negotiation, finance and economics. In addition, I have been trained in various fields such as administration, management, leadership, journalism, communication and digital marketing. A young fighter, ambitious, audacious and conscious. I have trained student youth in leadership and public speaking.

I won the National MisIntellect Chad competition in the ICT (Information and Communication Technology) category, which allowed me to participate in the sub-regional competition of sub-Saharan Africa for Miss ILMI (Intellect and Leadership Miss) in Niger, still in the ICT category, which I hold until today. I had the opportunity to work at UBA-chad bank for a year in the commercial department, volunteer teacher for a period of three months, consultant for the establishment of the African Union Youth Assembly branch in Chad, currently a volunteer at the Institute of Innovative Technologies for Development and Secretary General of the African Union Youth Assembly branch in Chad.

My background has nothing to do with environmental aspect, but I am well aware of the danger that threatens my generation and the next. My awareness of this danger comes from the fact that I participated in a debate organised by U-report to raise awareness against this scourge and since then I have an unconditional love for the protection of nature, which pushes me to often withdraw on weekends outside the city to learn and plant trees and flowers while sensitising youth in that locality to environmental protection, as it is a right and duty for every responsible and conscious citizen, as Desmond Tutu emphasised so well: “We are all guardians of the future of our planet, and we have a responsibility to protect it for future generations”.

During my journeys, I have met experienced people in the field who have helped me see clearly and weigh the consequences that this can have on my generation and those succeeding if we do nothing. This has allowed me to have a vision other than the one I had two years ago regarding the subject of environmental protection and all thanks to this debate organised by U-report.

I am now more determined and motivated than ever to participate in this noble cause, with the little experience I have, I would like to make available to Global Wave Climate Action what I consider necessary to have a positive impact while saving the world. I make a strong appeal to all those who consider this cause worthwhile to join us in saving the world, God willing. I will be on a hunger strike from November 1st.
